When our son was playing collegiate football it always amazed me how he could overcome double team blocking schemes. He taught me a lot about how NOT to let a situation intimidate you but instead let it motivate you. When things don’t look like it’s going your way you just have to dig deeper and fight harder.

That’s like our faith in Jesus. There’ll be times when we have our backs against the wall but we have to remember that ‘we don’t let the world dictate how our heart operates’. We live in a sick, secular and sinful world as Dr. James E. Williams proclaims from the pulpit. However we are in this world but not of this world; we’re just passing through for the time being.

Never give up in the battle because Jesus said that he will never leave us nor forsake us, and that’s Bible! Share this encouraging word with someone who might need a ‘lift’ today!

So blessed to be with Pastor Via and First Lady Tamara Muasau this past Sunday and share the Word of the Lord at Holy Warriors II Spirit filled service in Waipahu. Worship is more than 20 minutes on a Sunday morning. It’s more than singing along with the Christian radio station while driving on the freeway.

It’s a conscious effort, it’s a decision, it’s a lifestyle we choose to live.

“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.””
‭‭John‬ ‭4:24‬ ‭NKJV

It doesn’t say song and dance, it says ‘in spirit and truth’. As Bible believing, Scripture speaking, Praise pumping, Tongue talking, Blood bought, Bond Servants for Jesus Christ we know better so we HAVE TO DO BETTER.

You could be the only scripture someone will ever read or the only Praise song they’ll ever sing. Let’s do a better job at representing our Heavenly Father! That is all.

Aloha Saints and Aint’s, it is THANKFUL TUESDAY and it may not be your ‘Payday’ but it definitely is your ‘Praise Day’. If you’re reading this and are vertical, or breathing right now then you’ve got something to be thankful for.

The picture above was taken at the Prayer Wall in Jerusalem from our trip in November 2017. I believe in the Power of Prayer. People from all over the world from all different religions gathered at this wall to pray. Seeing the Orthodox Jewish Men praying alongside me is an experience I’ll never forget.

As the scripture says ‘don’t worry about anything, instead pray about everything. That will preach all by itself but what words of wisdom. Even as a Pastor I know I can pray more and worry less. In our own strength it is impossible NOT to worry; but we can do ALL things through Christ Jesus!

Nothing can separate you from God. You can also look at it as two words ‘no thing’ will come between you and your Heavenly Father.

Matthew 6:33 brings us clarification ‘Seek Ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these ‘things’ shall be added unto you’. Interesting the mention of ‘things’ and earlier I said ‘no thing’ and nothing.

God’s love is unconditional and we have absolutely no point of reference to have an understanding of that concept. Every earthly relationship is conditional when you examine the boundaries we have either created or have been subjected to. That is just how human nature and life goes.

Just to know that no matter what I did, no matter what I’m doing or no matter what I’m going to do will ever separate me from God should have us jumping off the roof with Pastor Carlos Rodrigues. Yet we feel lost, abandoned, alienated, lonely many times in our lives. But was it God’s fault or did we not follow His Commands again? I’m just saying that He always has his arms open for us no matter the situation.

He will NEVER leave you or forsake you and the sooner you realize that then the quicker you may live a life of abundance. Blessings always to you and your oahana.

“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.” Psalms‬ ‭100:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Are you a bank? Are you a credit union? Then STOP giving the enemy so much credit! His account is CLOSED in your life!! Start thanking GOD for your life, your family and all the other blessings HE has showered you with.

So many crazy things going on in the world and too many of us are saying ‘oh the devil is busy, the enemy is lurking, Satan is running amongst us’. STOP IT!

Remember that GOD is the Great I AM, period. The Alpha and the Omega, the author and the finisher, the beginning and the end, the one who was and is and is to come! That’s what we should be talking about is HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD!

On this Worship Wednesday I beseech you, I implore, I sincerely request that your Praise and Worship would have a different flavor, a more pleasing aroma to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Our worship is our warship, so let Judah go before us as we Praise HIS NAME on this beautiful day.

I learned a long time ago that an attitude of Gratitude will always help you get further down the road of life than being negative.

When you read the verse above you realize that is an impossible request x three. There is no way possible to do what is being asked but that is in our natural self. With the Holy Spirit we can do ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST who strengthen us. ‘…for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you…’ explains the intent of our Lord and Savior.

It is all about your mindset and where we place our focus. If you look for the good you will find the good and the opposite applies also. You find what you’re looking for, just try it.

Let us have the eyes of Christ and see others as HE sees us and not how the world does. If we can all do that then we can make a difference in this world and for our kids. Let’s REJOICE TOGETHER!!!

We were so blessed to attend the Ordination of Senior Pastor William Armstrong and his lovely wife Annette at the Grand Opening of Joyful Community Church Kauai in Koloa, Kauai yesterday.

Bishop Fred Welch of Joyful Community Church Maui was there with First Lady Zena along with his armor bearer Pastor Anana and his beautiful bride Aubrey. Lady Lyn and I were traveling with Pastor Bird and First Lady Lucy Mahelona for this celebration on Kauai.

Mahalo to Pastor James Eric ‘Kimo’ Williams for the release from service at LMAIC to go to Kauai.

In the book of Psalms 133 it talks about UNITY. Having clergy from other islands to honor Pastor Armstrong and his bride exampled to the congregation assembled yesterday the power of UNITY!

As I shared with those gathered, GOD Commands a blessing when there is UNITY. That’s Bible, that’s not just something that sounds nice, it’s in the Book! And we always speak The Truth, The Whole Truth and nothing but The Truth.

I don’t know about you but I LOVE BLESSINGS, giving or receiving is awesome in my book. Maybe if we could live in more UNITY, we’d get more blessings…. just saying.

We are IN IT TO WIN IT.

The other day we were talking about the ‘Power of Agreement’ as Pastor James E. Williams had so eloquently shared on our Free Inside Radio Program the other evening.

Following that we were talking that you can ‘have’ an agreement but not BE in agreement. The truly miraculous power is when you are in agreement and I have Bible for you.

In the book of Acts chapter 2:1 it reads “When the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.” And the definition of accord is ‘be harmonious or consistent with’.

You can have an agreement like an official document, contract or treaty and still not be ‘IN’ agreement. Let me go further you can be loved and not in love, you can be interested in a ministry but are you invested in that ministry. Imagine if you are really, truly IN love, there is Heavenly and Anointed power in that.

The picture was takes in a quiet moment as Lyn had just won the General Manager of the Year for Hawaii Lodging and Tourism Association. Out of every single hotel in the state of Hawaii, She was selected as the Best General Manager. She is my Wingless Angel and of whom much is given much is required. I support her 1,000% because together we are IN IT TO WIN IT for the Kingdom of God.

You are blessed to be a blessing, so get out there and start blessing on this Freedom Friday!!!

Amos 3:3

‘Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?’

It is TURNAROUND THURSDAY and someone’s life is going to do that after reading this message.

The other night in the studio Pastor James Eric Williams of Life More Abundantly Island Church brought a word that could very well change your life.

There is POWER in AGREEMENT and the first thing you need to come in AGREEMENT with is the Word of God. I know I just lost about six readers but that’s ok because as we ALL used to sing when we were kids, ‘Praise God from whom all blessings flow…’! I don’t know about you but I love to be blessed. The Word of God as it is written is our survival guide to make it through life. Many will say it is Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. Having said that, if you don’t follow the instructions in ANYTHING we do, there’s going to be some problems. Am I talking to anyone yet?

Even in the world, there’s a saying ‘2 heads (2minds) are better than 1’. That follows with our theme that there is POWER in AGREEMENT because when there is agreement there is no disagreement. You ever paddle a canoe or a tandem kayak? When the both of you are stroking in unison you just seem to glide smoothly over the water. Have you ever seen two people not in sync paddling together? What happens? They end up going in circles at best.

Man, that’ll preach right there; what happened to Moses and the Israelites when they left Egypt? They kept going and going and going for forty years because they were NOT in agreement.

Even for our married couples, I pray you know the feeling of when you are in AGREEMENT with your spouse because it seems that everything is perfect. It seems as if the kids listen better, the dog listens to you, and you don’t even hit a stop light driving to work. I mean everything is ‘schmooood’.

If you can get back to the start, back to the beginning and come in AGREEMENT with GOD and HIS WORD I promise you your life will be forever changed. God is not a man that HE Should lie and HIS Word will NOT return void, That’s Bible!
