Happy Thanks-Living, no that’s not a typo I meant Living not Giving. Thanksgiving is a day but Thanks-Living is a lifestyle! We have so much to be thankful for. The mere fact that you’re able to read this post allows me to assume you should be thankful for the breath of life and that you are alive.
2020 has been a very challenging year and I make no light of the struggles and tragedies that many family’s are going through. However I realize as bad as things may be it could be worse. Some of you will notice the photo I have posted from Thanks-Living Day. The scripture I’ve attached is so applicable of how we should live our lives. I said applicable, not easy. For anyone who has been in a broken relationship or even divorce you know firsthand how easy it is to fall into the devil’s playbook and to fill your heart with anger, regrets and unforgiveness. But if we are going to be true disciples and followers of Jesus Christ we have to heed the scriptures and instructions to live Christ centered lives.
What greater examples for our children than to love unconditionally those that have wronged you, maligned you, and have attacked you. If you are able to truly forgive and walk with the eyes of Christ then your children will be better equipped to survive in this sick, secular and sinful world. Let us Live Love Loudly so there is no doubt for others that we are a new creation through Christ Jesus and there is no room for the devil’s plots, ploys, or problems. And as we get closer to God, we get closer to God!
“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
II Chronicles 7:14 NKJV
What we need to be doing right now is pray; as individuals and corporately we need to pray during these times!
The scripture does not mention Democrats, Republicans, Independents or any other political affiliation or party. What it does say is “if My who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways,
God is calling ‘His People’ which would mean the Christians or Believers of Jesus Christ. So I too am addressing any blood bought, scripture speaking, praise pumping, tongues talking bond servants for Jesus Christ; Wake Up, Stand Up and Speak Up! We need to lose the pride, lose the attitude and lose the ego and turn from our wicked ways, get down on our knees and seek God’s face. Scripture goes further to explain it quite clearly: then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
If you are reading this and believe that we need a Heavenly Healing throughout the world, you know what we need to do….PRAY, PRAY and PRAY. ~ SELAH ~
It’s 4am HST and a soft soothing rain is falling as I meditate with the Lord this morning. Sometimes the loudest worship we can have is in the silence and obedience to God.
Would you agree that we are living in the most challenging times ever? So many family and friends are struggling with everything from finances to relationships and even their faith; there I said it! In the midst of the storms raging around us we need to remember:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1 NKJV
On this Worship Wednesday let us go back to the beginning… before the anger, the arguing, the abuse, the lies, the gossiping and murmuring, before the Covid Virus, before the politics … Let us go back with the Creator of Heaven and Earth to the beginning and grasp the fact that we are created in the likeness of HIS image, hallelujah!!! Let us live a life worthy of the price that was paid on the cross 2,000 years ago. ~ Selah ~
In the days that we are living currently it has become much more obvious to me that we need to be more grateful. It is not about what we want but to be grateful with what we already have.
Too often we are caught up in the proverbial rat race and keeping up with the Jones’. If you know that God has forgiven you then you should be forgiving others; easier said than done I agree but it establishes a base-line we could and should live by.
I have learned in 2020 to be more grateful and to be more forgiving to others…. just like Jesus would do. I sincerely pray for your health, your provision and that God bless you today.

As a Pastor as soon as I say the word ‘Turnaround’ many of the believers assume I am going to reference 2 Chronicles 7:14.

However that is not the case today. I would rather share with you that God does hear all of our prayers but does not answer all of our prayers in the timing or manner in which we would like. Case in point think of something you prayed for out of spite or anger… aren’t you glad God did not take heed?
Rest assured during these times we are living that God is still sitting on His Throne and is in full control. However let’s remember to do our part so He can do His part. Blessings always and let someone you know that you love them❤️

Fear is everywhere right now. If you were to believe the media and everything they are distributing you would say the world is coming to an end.
The Bible says that fear is a spirit and you know as I’ve ministered over the years that our bodies are earthen vessels filled with a spirit. It is either the Holy Spirit or the Spirit of the enemy.
We need to stay grounded in the Word of God because it is the Absolute Truth that is our compass for all we do. We need to Pray, Pray, and Pray. HIS Glory shall be revealed in the end and it’s going to get worse before it gets better, but not for the Believer.
To God Be The Glory Always and Forever.
Sometimes we have to pump our brakes and stay in our lane and realize how blessed we are. Freedom Friday means many things to many people and we need to be thankful. Does the thing that made you angry before not bother you today… that is FREEDOM. Have you been healed from alcoholism, drug addiction, broken relationships…. that is FREEDOM.
He who the Son sets free is free indeed
John 8:36
Indeed is one word and not two words ‘in deed’. You can’t work for your freedom that Jesus has given you because it is a free gift. On this Freedom Friday let us all bless those around us as we are blessed to do so. God wants you to thrive and not just survive and to have a life of abundance. So as we roll into the weekend on this Freedom Friday…. let’s all be thankful for how God has and continues to bless us.

I believe one of our biggest challenges in life is forgiveness. Speaking of myself there have been times where forgiveness seemed impossible. The hurt or the wrong was too great in my eyes that I could ‘never’ even consider forgiving that person. No way, not in this lifetime.
Therein lies the problem or the answer to my problem. It was ‘my eyes’ and not the eyes of Christ. It was ‘my way’ and not YAWEH.
All you have to remember is the 9 words Jesus uttered to His Heavenly Father, “Forgive them Father they know not what they do”. That is my counterweight or my balance when I am in. challenging situation, remember what Jesus did for the world on the cross. Forgiveness is the cornerstone for a less stressful life, not stress free but less stressful. ~Selah~
In the wake of the recent tragedy in California where 9 lives were lost in a helicopter crash, we have to hold on to our faith.
We were not created to understand or bring meaning to every event that occurs on planet Earth. The only one who has the answers is God and as we know He is The Way, The Truth and The Life. That’s Bible!
“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;” Deuteronomy 30:19
